Maid of the Forth

A school trip to Inchcolm Island is a great trip for all ages of school children, we can provide a entertaining treasure hunt for the younger kids, culminating in a dig on the beach to find the pirates treasure.  

Older children and students can be led on more advanced treasure hunt to discover more of the history of the island and the wildlife that is abundant on Inchcolm.

Prices for educational trips are £5.00 for children, with 1 adult free for every 10 kids.

Free Landing passes are available from Historic Scotland for many types of Educational Groups. To see if your group qualifies please see the following link (Click here).  If your group qualifies for free landing you have to contact the Island on 07836 265 146 at least 10 days prior to your visit to get your free passes sent to you.  You must then bring them with you on the day and show them in our booking office on the Hawes Pier, and then we don't have to charge you the landing fees!!
